How we work

Four principles that shape the team and the product.

  • AI-first, never AI-as-decoration

    Every product surface starts with the question "how does AI make this zero-effort?" before we build the manual version. We use AI where it earns its place — not because it's on a slide.

  • Research informs product, product informs research

    We publish work with academic partners and ship it into production. Findings from KTH and Aalto theses end up in the recommendation engine our providers use the same year.

  • Privacy is the product

    We build for a world where users own their data and benefit from it. That conviction shapes every architectural choice — from local-first onboarding to aggregated-signal matching.

  • Small team, real ownership

    You will not be the 47th engineer adjusting a feature flag. Whatever you ship goes to real beauty professionals in Stockholm and is judged by whether their day got better.
