Six years from observation to foundation.

  1. The observation2020

    A missing layer.

    In the middle of the pandemic, Johanna Viio sees the gap clearly — appointments, inspiration, and service discovery all existed online, but on separate platforms. No single layer brought social discovery, intelligent recommendations, and ethical data handling together.

  2. The company2023

    Fixmeapp is founded.

    Backed by early ALMI funding, the first UX prototypes take shape in Stockholm — the foundation begins on screen, before a line of code.

    We do research with KTH and Aalto with one goal — to make booking faster, more precise, and more private. Not every paper becomes a product, but every direction shapes one.

    Every product surface starts with "how does AI make this zero-effort?" before we build the manual version. We use AI where it earns its place — not because it’s on a slide.
