Why we are building Fixmeapp — A Note from the Founder

The beauty industry runs on trust. You trust your hairdresser with your hair, your esthetician with your skin, your chiropractor with your body. But somewhere along the way, the platforms where you book these providers are collecting data about you and treat it like theirs.

Today most platforms (apps or websites) collect data when we use them to different extents. They most likely sell it, or try to. They profile us. And we users who created that data never see a single dollar of that value which our data gave them.

We're building Fixmeapp because we believe in a future that it doesn't have to be this way. And it shouldn’t be.

Imagine a platform where you discover your next hairdresser the same way you discover music — through friends, through people whose taste you trust, through a community that feels human. Where you can follow your favorite providers, see what your friends are booking, and get inspired without being tracked.

And where your data — your likes, bookings, preferences, habits and even data of your allergies — belongs to you.

That's what we're building. A social beauty booking platform with privacy by design at its core. Not as a feature but as the foundation for an ethical data economy and user privacy.

We can’t wait for you to try it.
