Weekly Tech-update (W.46)

This Week’s Breakthroughs

Read time: 1.5 min

Behind the scenes, the Fixmeapp team works its magic. Every week, we continue making great progress, as we consistently reach our goals in areas ranging from system development to optimization of the UX. For every goal reached and challenge settled, we get closer to our mission.

Last week, we made breakthroughs in modes in user profiles, improving how users can interact with their personal spaces in the app. Onboarding processes was another major milestone: users will now be able to seamlessly sign up and connect with each other.
Loading speeds and system culture were also perfected for faster delivering.

Instagram log in feature is now live

This week, we are exited to share that our tech team has successfully built a complete and fully-functional Instagram log in feature, which is now live. This means if users would like to use Instagram as a log-in process, they can simply do so without the need to manually type in data from Instagram, such as usernames or content. This is thanks to last weeks breakthrough, which allows us to effortlessly bridge data between the two platforms when a log in is initiated.

Prompt-based classifier ready

Our first version of a prompt-based classifier is also ready. This means that the language model used in the app automation will subsequently be able to solve cloze-style tasks utilizing existing knowledge. Simply put: the app will be smarter in the sense that it can deliver
more accurately on a wider variety of prompts put in by the user.

What’s next?
Our focus forward will be on improving data handling and caching, refining how we fetch information dynamically, and continuing to build on the already great progress that we've made in onboarding flow for new users.

Stay tuned for the next Weekly Tech-update for future news regarding the Fixmeapp team’s breakthroughs.
